That title doesn't exactly explain my situation, but now that I have your attention...
Currently have RDGateway, ConnectionBroker, Session Host roles with a single published Collection on a physical server (TS1) and a second session host-only role (connections split 50/50) on another physical server (TS2). The licensing role is on a separate physical server (LS1). There are issues with the multi-role server (TS1) that require it to be redeployed from scratch so the plan is to add the RDGate and CB roles to the LS1 server and have the TS2 server be the sole Session Host while TS1 is rebuilt, after which TS1 will only be an additional Session Host. There is no HA configured at all.
Rather than have to reconfigure everything in one fell swoop I'm hoping that the RDGate and CB roles can be created on the LS1 server now, leaving the current deployment up and running. Then tackle reconfiguring the TS2 session host to belong to the new deployment with a new collection and taking down the TS1 server to be rebuilt.
Is that a viable plan, to have two RDGate/CB configured on the same domain?
