I'm trying to configure a standalone RDS server on Windows Server 2012 in a domain environment. This server is a member-server. The goal is allow additional RDP sessions on an administrative workstation in our datacenter. I configured the server with a standard deployment using the recommended method of RDS installation under Add Roles and Features. Licensing is configured correctly and the deployment on the server is set to use itself as a licensing server. However I keep receiving "Remote Desktop licensing mode is not configured".
I tried to backup and delete the GradePeriod key as recommended in this post but was not able to.
