Hi There,
I have a remotely hosted Windows 2012 Server that I use as a testbed. I can only reach the server by Remote desktop connection and by using Putty or so.
Now, some time ago I apparently installed the Terminal Server functionality but I have never used it. I did see a message that there was a grace period, but I have not needed the server for some time.... so now I try to connect via remote desktop I receive the message:
'The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license. Please contact the server administrator.'
So.... now I'm in a bind.... I only have a Non elevated Windows Command Prompt.... And my usual Remote Desktop connection.... that fails.
Is there a way to fix this? Is there some way to remove the additional features from the command prompt?
Looking forward to any constructive reply.
John
