Hello Experts,
i implemented a RDS 2012 R2 solution in the following environment:
1- AD 2008 R2
2- two session hosts in same farm ( RR DNS) 2012 R2
3- two web server 2012 R2
3- Two connection broker server ( RR DNS) 2012 R2
i need to implement a virtual IP per session, after i read many articles i found that i must enable the group policy for virtual IP. and i also must decide the IP and subnet of the network card in the session host in order to integrate it with the DHCP, my problem that there is no available IP's in the DHCP to give the sessions, when i did a search for this i read that the session host must be in the same VLAN of the DHCP in order the virtual IP to work, is this correct ? if yes how i can handle my situation ? if no how i can decide from which range the dhcp give the session an unique IP ?
also how i can give the session static IP since i need each session to take a unique ip without changing when the user sign out an re log in ?
Last question, the group policy regarding the Virtual IP must applied on the session hosts servers right ?
any help will highly appreciate.
thanks in advance.
