We have our Term server set up to bring over local drives into the terminal session. This works just fine most of the time, but occasionally it doesn't work. When we run into the issue, we have to log into the Term server as an administrator and restart the Print Spooler service. After the service starts back up, the drives propagate in the terminal session immediately. It is really a strange issue and even stranger that the Print Spooler service has an effect on it.
We have been having some random issues lately with redirected printers not showing up at times as well and I'm sure it's all related but I don't know why it is occurring. Every time I have logged into the Term server the Print Spooler service is running
so I know it's not that it's stopping that is causing the problem, but it may be crashing and restarting or something like that. Anyway, if you have any advice or can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
