RDS 2012 - Move profiles to shared storage

I am looking for some guidance with setting up a 2012 R2 RDS deployment. I have deployed several of these so far but they were all greenfield environments. At my company, we were running 3 2008 Terminal Services with 3 servers and each server was self-contained, they did their own licensing, held their own profiles locally, etc.

I since upgraded all the servers to 2012 R2 and plan on setting up an RDS farm with collections and published apps. My issue lies with the user profiles. We want the connection broker to handle the sessions and make it to where users are not restricted to logging into one specific server. Is there a way for me to move all the profiles spread out on the 3 servers to a shared storage device but still have the RDS server direct the user to their profile regardless of the server that handles the connection?

Also, as of yet, are there any books published that goes in depth about RDS 2012. I have not seen one by any of the major publishers. If you need any more info let me know. I am also open to User Disks if we can migrate the data over fairly seamlessly.
