I am evaluating server 2012 std. Clients are running 7 pro with RDP 8.1 client. This same application works flawlessly on my 2008 server and remotes.
I have an application (Kodak WinOMS) that has a few windows that show the following issues:
Application launches fine and works on 90% of the screens.
One particular menu option is really slow to pop up when connected via RDP. Works fine when on the console. Probably takes 30 seconds for this window to appear when on the remote. If you disconnect and reconnect the session it appears immediately. It is almost like Windows takes a bit for it to realize the window is there and to display it, and the disc / reco shows the proper refresh.
On my Server 2008 remotes, this application works with no issue.
Can anyone think of ways to troubleshoot this? Server is fully patched as are clients. I have tried different experience settings and display settings to no avail.
App works fine when connecting directly to the console.
