VDI licensing question: KMS or MAK

I have read through some of the posts and also through some of the technet info referenced. I am still confused.

So I have a server 2012 w/25cals, I have RDS 10cals, I have office 25 cals, and win8 10 cals (since the PC's are already loaded with OS from factory).

I wanted to do RDS VDI for off site workers, never more than 10, so I built the RDS server and the win7pro image. When doing the image, I activated the OS and Office.

Problem is that when accessing the RDS/VDI, the OS(win7pro) and Office2010 are not activated. If I input key and activate OS+Office, next time I access RDS/VDI it is not activated again, which makes sense since sysprep probably strips activation info...

How do I get the images to activate? Is it a "answer file" of some sort? Is it KMS and what about the 25 OS licenses that I do not need?

Wont the MAK key get tagged for excessive activations if it keeps being used over and over every time an image is rolled out?
