Hi I have a standalone Windows 2008 R2 server (not part of a domain), and configured it as a RD hosting and gateway server with 5 apps. All apps are available through RD Web.
On OS X mavericks, using the latests version of Microsoft Remote Desktop, I type in the server URL: https://servername/rdweb in the remote resources dialogue. It then says "Unable to locate any resources for the URL" .
I have also installed the same app on IOS 7 (Ipad). On that I get a list of resources, which I can subsequently run properly on the IPAD.
So the problem seems to be the MAC app or configuration, not the server, as it works properly with IOS.
As a workaround, i have created RDP files for each of the apps and copied them to the MAC. However, when I start them, I get a credentials error and I have to type in the correct credentials every time I use the rdp file. After that it works.
So help would be appreciated:
- How to get the remote resources listed on the MAC
- How to avoid having to type in the credentials each time when starting an RDP file
